Welcome to my site! I am a full-time professional
Chicago harpist and harp teacher. In addition to being a
Chicago wedding musician, I have a vast amount of
experience with other special events, ranging from
intimate, romantic anniversary dinners for two to
fundraisiers with thousands of guests.
My experience as a harpist has shown me that from
wedding music to background music, the harp is one of
the most beautiful and classic ways to enhance the
ambiance of weddings and other events.
Repeatedly over the years for which I have been
working as a harpist, I have been singled out for both
the sound and the physical nature of my harp playing.
I've been seen playing the harp in national television
commercials and print ads, most recently in a
commercial for Isotoner gloves coming up this holiday
season and in a print ad for The Private Bank. It's been
said (by Frank Zappa, among others) that without music
to decorate it, time is just a series of moments ticking by.
You will find that using a harpist at your event will
decorate those moments, as well as the physical space,
with sophistication and flair.
As a professional Chicago harpist
and generally as a Chicago musician,
I am proud to have a thoroughly
Chicagoan pedigree, with Harp
Performance degrees from
Northwestern University and the
Chicago College of Performing Arts
under the tutelage of the
world-renowned Chicago harpists
Sarah Bullen and Elizabeth Cifani. My
work as a wedding ceremony
musician and background musician
has taken me to nearly every suburb
of the extended metro Chicago area,
and my work as a Classical artist has
taken me across the United States.
My career extends beyond being a
Chicago harpist for weddings and
other events. Through frequent
engagements as a concerto and
recital soloist, orchestral harpist, and
chamber musician, I have been an
active part of Chicago's music scene
for nearly a decade. Ensembles I've
played my harp with range from the
Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the
Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the
Grant Park Symphony Orchestra to
the backup band for mariachi king
Vicente Fernandez at Chicago's
20,000-seat Allstate Arena. I've also
appeared as a harpist in chamber
music recitals with many of the most
distinguished Chicago musicians,
and therefore with some of the finest

I may have been a professional
Chicago harpist for a nearly a
decade, but I have been a musician
for all but the first four years of my
life, a Chicago wedding musician and
solo harpist for my entire adult life,
and I've been performing
professionally as a wedding harpist,
background musician, and Classical
artist continuously since my
